Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know
TabTrade - The Short Version
Tab Trade went live in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The speed is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.
Safety
Now, the part that requires honesty. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. It does be part of your assessment.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You fund your account, they top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you deposit.
